Keith and Maxine were called to ministry in The Salvation Army while working for two years in Zimbabwe where Maxine was a teacher and Keith was a Chartered Accountant. Their eldest daughter was born in Harare before they returned for ordination training. They then served as Officers (Church Ministers) for around 20 years, leading congregations in Liverpool and latterly in the North East of England, before Keith joined the leadership team in a Baptist Church and then a Vineyard Church.
Responding to lockdown, they led a small house church in their own home. They are now thrilled to be worshipping with their daughters and grandchildren at Christ Church Newcastle (www.christchurchnewcastle.com). Since leaving full-time ministry Max returned to teaching and is now a tutor, while Keith has been teaching people to drive.
Some years ago, they were privileged to be part of the ministry leaders team for another Christian holiday company and are delighted to now be able to lead for Richmond. They have a passion for teaching scripture and caring for people, and are really looking forward to this new phase in their joint ministries.
