The dramatically mountainous island of Madeira is located 300 miles from the coast of West Africa. Its mountainous terrain is home to vineyards for Madeiran wine, and banana plantations which are traditionally paired with their gorgeous scabbard fish dish. Imagine green mountains, walks above the clouds along a network of water walkways, catamaran trips to see whales and dolphins in a Gulf Stream warmed sea (with lowest temperatures of 18 Celsius!) and tele-cabin trips up to luscious gardens with breath-taking views.

Dean and Elizabeth Norby

Dean & Elizabeth are newly retired from being a church minister and nurse respectively. They live in Edinburgh and have 3 grown children. Dean is originally a farmer from USA and Elizabeth from Aberdeen, however they met in South Sudan
serving with a Christian organisation in a war zone...very romantic! They love sunshine, marmite, growing vegetables and salted cashew nuts!

Keith and Maxine Morley

Keith and Maxine were called to ministry in The Salvation Army while working for two years in Zimbabwe where Maxine was a teacher and Keith was a Chartered Accountant. They then served as Officers (Church Ministers) for around 20 years, before Keith joined the leadership team in a Baptist Church and then a Vineyard Church. They have a passion for teaching scripture and caring for people, and are really looking forward to this new phase in their joint ministries.

Phil and Sharon Dixon

Phil and Sharon live in Shanklin, a beautiful seaside town on the Isle of Wight. Phil works as Chaplain for St Mary’s Hospital and Sharon is an experienced senior Social Worker and Team Lead for the Isle of Wight Council. They are active participants at True Vine Church, both have inspirational testimonies to the amazing and undeserved transformational power of God. Between them they have 5 adult children and enjoy spending time together seeking God’s will.

Malcolm and Trisha Morgan

Malc and Trish Morgan have been in ministry for many years. Sometimes they have served together in leadership of churches and most recently co pioneered a church plant in Evia Greece until 2022. Malcolm now is the senior associate minister of St Andrews community church Bath, UK. and Trish continues to be involved in worship teams and speaking at various events as well as at her home church.

Kevin and Catherine Mentzel

Kevin served in the Royal Engineers before training for ordained ministry in the Church of England. He served as a curate in Kent, school chaplain, and assistant minister in Fulham. Kevin served as an Army Chaplain for 18 years, seeing operational tours in Northern Ireland and Iraq. Kevin preaches in churches in Oxfordshire and is a Volunteer Police Chaplain. Kevin is married to Catherine, and they have two daughters.

Dalton King

Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica Dalton came to England at 9 and became a Christian aged 16 at a Boys Brigade camp. He's married to Sarah and they have three grown up children. He loves watching cricket, football, rugby and play table tennis. Sadly, he lost one of his brothers aged 21 in a tragic accident, since then he's had a greater desire to speak to people about Jesus and the brevity of life.

Steve is an experienced youth worker and spends half of his working week in a local secondary school mentoring students. Katrina works as an early years practitioner, she loves helping and supporting families as they journey through life.

Trevor is a Minister of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, currently serving as Clerk of the General Assembly and General Secretary– the senior all-Ireland leadership role in his denomination. Trevor has been involved in leading ministry with Richmond since the beginning of the Company and retains an ongoing passion for that ministry both to guests and to staff.
