French Alps - 7th July 2018
Explore the Alps and enjoy the beautiful mountain flora, birds and wildlife.
Join us in the French Alps this summer for a week of mountain walking in the stunning Three Valleys area. The flowers are in bloom, the mountains capped in snow and the views are simply stunning! Walk along streams and waterfalls and take a dip in the cooling (well freezing!) Alpine lakes that have thawed out since the winter and experience nature’s infinity pool.
The vast network of chairlifts offers a variety of walking routes each day giving quick, easy access to the expansive mountain range! Remember to bring your pair of binoculars for spotting some of the local alpine wildlife including the legendary whistling marmotte! With views of Mt Blanc and the Matterhorn, this is a week to remember and a great safe environment to explore the mountains with our friendly guide.
About the walks
The walks range from 2-4 miles per day and require a basic level of fitness and good balance. Remember, our chalet is at an altitude of 2000m above sea level the peaks are over 3000m where the air is thinner! The mountain paths tend to be rocky and uneven so sturdy footwear is a must.

Sound good but want some more challenging?
Our second week (14th- 21st July) will be for those interested in longer walks ranging from 5-9 miles per day.
