Resort Fact File

Reberty Village, situated at 2000m, is halfway between Val Thorens and Les Menuires in Les Trois Vallees (The Three Valleys). The area offers a fantastic snow quality, with great access to the three principal valleys of Courchevel, Meribel and Les Menuires/Val Thorens as well as the bonus Orelle valley. With seven ski-able peaks or passes over 3000m high, the Three Valleys is largest ski area in the world, with 600km of interconnecting slopes linked together by the world’s most modern and comfortable network of 180 ski lifts.

Beginners and children will enjoy the dedicated safe learning zones nearby and gentle runs just in front of the chalet. The extensive ski system will take you safely throughout the Three Valleys. Intermediates will find it easy to access the blues and reds of the close by Les Menuires and Val Thorens. Experts have plenty of challenging blacks and off-piste. It’s also a paradise for snowboarders as there are wide runs and extensive off-piste including many snow-parks and half-pipes for fans of new winter board-sports. There are many cross-country skiing tracks that are prepared and maintained each day. These will lead you through breathtaking scenery. In a nutshell, there’s something for everyone!

You can also roam the domain at your leisure, on foot, hiking along the marked trails, or using the pedestrian ski lift passes. You can walk down to a lower village and get the chairlift back up; further, ESF offer snow shoe walks twice daily.

There is plenty to do for non-skiers. Nearby Les Menuires is accessible by a free bus or a 30 minute walk; the town boasts a variety of shops and restaurants, a Toboggan run as well as a popular family friendly sports centre with a large pool and spa. Alternatively, if you want to go and explore there is snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing and further free buses that run to the picturesque village of Saint-Martin and Val Thorens.

Snow cover:

Thanks to natural qualities (altitude) and regular, ongoing investments in cultured snow production, the 3 Valleys area is able to guarantee snow cover from the beginning of December until the end of April over the entire ski area, offering wide ski runs that are maintained nightly by 80 piste grooming machines. From Richmond’s own experience, with the unprecedented poor snow conditions we experienced at the beginning of the 2010/11 season, we were thrilled to provide our guests with a ski-in ski-out chalet right to the very last day on 23 April 2011. It was fabulous work on behalf of the Three Valleys piste crews. Then, just to prove how diverse the weather conditions can be, the amount of snow at the end of the 2011/12 season meant our Reberty staff were still skiing two weeks after other resorts closed!
