Going Skiing? Get ready with our ski checklist!
1. Don’t forget to book your lift pass!
Lift passes need to be booked no later than three weeks before departure; we’ll need to know your date of birth and the number of days needed for a lift pass.
Remember, the prices for lift passes, equipment hire and lessons vary based on the daily exchange rate. Please call us for an accurate quote and note that these extras will need to be paid for upon adding them to your booking, as the price quoted will be the price that day.
2. Do you need to hire equipment?
Equipment hire needs to be booked no later than three weeks before departure and we’ll need the following information from you before we add equipment to your booking:
- Date of Birth
- Level of ski (blue, red, black or premium) or snowboard
- Boots required?
- Helmet required?
- Height (cm)
- Weight (kg)
- Shoe Size (in EU sizes)
- Number of days equipment is required
3. Do you want to book lessons?
Ski/Snowboard lessons need to be booked no later than three weeks before departure and we’ll need your date of birth, level and preferred meeting point before booking you in. You can also pre-book Child Supervision Service for your 4-12 year olds coming skiing in main school holidays.
4. Do you want to book transfers?
Our chalets in Reberty and Bettaix Villages are closest to Chambery Airport or Moutiers train station, and Richmond offers transfers from both these pick-up points.
If you would like to add transfers onto your booking please contact the Richmond Office once you have decided how you plan to travel to resort. To add any transfers, you will need to let us know your travel information, including arrival location and timings.

Ps. Have you checked your insurance? Please check that your travel insurance includes winter sports cover so that in the unfortunate event of an accident you are covered. Please note that some insurance companies now require you to wear a helmet and some do not cover off-piste skiing so check your winter cover policy carefully. We strongly advise Carre Neige additional insurance if you do plan to go off-piste.
