Samos - September 2017
21st September in Samos with Tony and Christine Patching
There is so much of this beautiful Greek island to be explored, from the beaches to the towns and hills with magnificent views over the Aegean ocean! Our programme of walks takes you along a variety of paths and rough tracks which take in fantastic Grecian vistas and local scenes.
During the walks, we will stop at traditional tavernas along the route to enjoy a well-earned break and some great local food. On some days, a packed lunch will be required, these are available for purchase at the hotel.
About Tony and Christine Patching
Tony & Christine, a wonderful Christian couple with plenty of walking experience from their local Dorset coast paths under their belts, return to Richmond this September to lead their third Samos walking week. They have a passion for seeing the Lord minister into His peoples lives and Tony is also a keen guitarist. They are excited to show you the best of Samos' beauty.
We caught up with Tony and Christine to find out how preparations are going for the walking week on 21st September. They have been reflecting on the great time they had leading previous Richmond walking week’s in 2015 and 2016.
Tony & Christine say:
“We are really looking forward to be leading the walking week again this September it is a pleasure to show others the fantastic trails found around the island. The daily walks are around 7.5 kilometres each, well planned, medium paced and with an essential taverna stop along the way. Come and join us this September!”
