To celebrate the start of Spring, the Richmond Office Team decided to make the most of the beautiful evenings last week and go sailing after work!
In true Enid Blyton style, we packed our dingy (a trusty 15ft Wayfarer) with ginger beer, scotch eggs and, as a nod to our love of Samos, a Mediterranean platter of olives, tomatoes and cured hams. We had picked a perfect evening with a gentle breeze and an absolutely spectacular sunset. As Poole Harbour isn’t blessed with quite the same temperature as Samos(!), we had to deck ourselves out in wetsuits, waterproof spray tops and woolly hats! Nonetheless, we enjoyed a delightful sail around Poole Harbour and, thanks to the high tide, we were able to land on the shore at Arne and enjoy our delicious picnic!
Following the first Richmond sailing trip of the year, all of us in the Office are so excited for the summer and we hope you are also looking forward to the joys of the longer evenings, the sun and, of course, holidays! We are especially excited for those of you heading out to Samos over the next six months with Richmond, as you will have the opportunity to enjoy the balmy sailing metres from the hotel in the stunning Aegean Sea! With the end of the ski season drawing near and the start of the summer season in just over a month, if you have any questions about our summer holidays then please contact us as we would love to discuss what a Richmond Holiday could look like for you!
